Our network distributes millions of pounds of food to the hungry and working poor through our partner food pantries. Food Pantries provide food assistance to neighbors in need at sites throughout our service area; Caroline County, City of Fredericksburg, King George County, Locust Grove, Spotsylvania County, and Stafford County.
The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank serves as a distribution point for government commodities that are made available on a weekly basis to income-eligible individuals through certified TEFAP pantries throughout our community.
Rules for acceptance and participation in the program are the same for everyone without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, or handicap. USDA is an equal opportunity provider and employer.
OrderAhead is a fast, convenient, private way for neighbors to get the food they need. OrderAhead allows you to select groceries and schedule a time to pick up your order at the FRFB or another participating site in the community. If you have any questions please contact our Food Assistance & Referral Specialist, Diane Grimes, at (540) 371-7666 x 146 or at email@example.com.
The Mobile Pantry program brings fresh produce and pantry items to remote and under-served areas of our community where many food-insecure families have limited access to healthy food.
The Mobile Pantry rotates distribution between 22 different locations throughout our service area, each with its own designated time & day of the month (Weather Permitting).
Mobile Pantries will be canceled if weather conditions are dangerous (e.g. thunderstorms) or if the scheduled day falls on a Holiday. The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank will post all changes to the Mobile Pantry schedule on our app, FredFoodVA. If you have any questions please contact our Mobile Pantry Coordinator, Deon Stewart, at (540) 371-7666 x 143 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
