At the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, we’re committed to ensuring our community always has reliable, up-to-date access to food assistance information. That’s why we want to make you aware of a temporary issue affecting the FredFoodVA mobile app.

What’s Happening

Some users have reported seeing incorrect or outdated pantry and distribution times when using the FredFoodVA app. After investigating, we’ve identified that this issue appears to be limited to Android devices at this time. Our team is actively working to correct the problem.

We know how important it is for neighbors to have the right information when planning visits to pantries and distributions, and we’re moving as quickly as possible to ensure all listings display correctly again.

What You Can Do

If you notice that the app is showing the wrong time for a pantry or distribution, we’d appreciate your help in identifying where the issue appears. Please send us a direct message or email with the following details:

  • The pantry or distribution name

  • Your phone’s make and model

  • Your operating system version (for example, Android 13)

This information will help our team pinpoint and fix the issue more efficiently.
