FREE RIDES IN A SECURE, SAFE, RIDE-SHARE ENVIRONMENT:
Especially for seniors, veterans, AND those with no other options for transportation to and from a CONFIRMED vaccination appointment at a designated VACCINE SITE.
Rappahannock United Way is committed to helping increase vaccine access to families and individuals in our communities by providing free rides (up to $25) each way, to and from vaccination appointments. If you need transportation to get to a vaccine site, you can request a free or discounted ride through the Lyft Ride Service by filling out the request form on our website.
For COVID-19 vaccine appointments, individuals may request up to three return rides total.
REQUIREMENTS:
Eligible Riders must be a resident of the Greater Fredericksburg Region, over 18 years of age, and have no other transportation options available. Requested rides must be at a reasonable distance, and riders must have a smartphone and an active Lyft account via the Lyft app.
