WE WILL CONTINUE TO UPDATE THIS PAGE AS MORE INFORMATION BECOMES AVAILABLE

The FRFB is committed to the highest standards of food safety and personal safety for our staff, volunteers, community partners, and neighbors who receive food

Although we do not yet know how this outbreak will impact the Fredericksburg Region, we are monitoring its status closely and doing everything we can to ensure those who depend on us continue to receive nutritious food.

We are working closely with state and local public health agencies, healthcare providers and local government to access and assess the most up-to-date information as it unfolds.

Getting Food Out To Our Community

We will continue to collect, prepare and distribute food to those in need. For real-time updates about Food Assistance in our community, download our app FredFoodVA on iOS or Android

Food Pantries throughout our community have modified their pantry schedules. To see current pantries open for distribution click here.
The FRFB will be collecting food and packing boxes on behalf of Stafford County Public Schools for distribution to students and their families. Donations to aid in this effort can be made here. 100% of these funds will be used to support Stafford County Public Schools.

All volunteers are required to wash their hands prior to participating in any food handling project, and we are limiting the total number of volunteers in our building at any given time. It is important to sign up on our website in advance to ensure we will have a project for you upon arrival. Walk-In volunteers may be asked to return at another time if the maximum number of volunteers has been met. If you’re healthy and willing to volunteer, please signup today.

To ensure the highest food safety standards for our community, we are asking for monetary donations to purchase the most needed items and not encouraging community food drives. We would love for you to host a Virtual Food Drive to share your passion for the food bank with your network.
