School-Based pantries are located on the grounds of a school to provide a more readily accessible source of food assistance to children and their families. As a need is identified by school staff, the pre-packed boxes containing a few days of emergency food, along with resource materials such as a pantry reference list and SNAP information, are distributed to the families in need.
The After-School Snack Program provides nutritious, freshly prepared snacks to children in an environment that is safe, accessible, and convenient. Sites are located at organizations that provide after-school programming for youth, such as Schools and Libraries.
With the Summer Feeding Program, children and teens ages 18 and younger, can continue to eat healthy, while school is out, at no cost.
Participating sites serve grab & go meals for children to enjoy, just show up, receive a meal and enjoy it on the go. Parents and guardians are allowed to pick up meals even when their children can’t be present.
