Thank You Giant Foods

Earlier this week the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank received a check from Giant Food in the amount of $5,262.00. This amount represents the proceeds Giant collected for the FAFB from their 2011 Good Neighbor Campaign. To the food bank this check represents food to be provided to the hungry and to our community it means over 4,000 people who would have gone without a meal today, will have one more meal tonight. We thank you Giant Food for being such a good neighbor and helping us create a hunger-free community.
