May 1st - 31st Older Americans Month

After a lifetime of contributing to society, many seniors are living on fixed incomes that often force them to make impossible decisions like choosing between paying for healthcare or presriptions and buying groceries. With widespread community support we are working with Feeding America to ensure that seniors in need are provided with nutritious food. Together, we can provide hope to hungry seniors.

May 10th EP & Friends Food Drive

Please come out to the 909 Saloon on Friday, May 10th and bring some food or a few bucks to donate for the Food-4-Kidz Weekend Feeding Program. They promise you'll be helping your neighbors in need while having a good time. Learn more >>

May 11th Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive

On Saturday, May 11, Campbell Soup Company will join forces with the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) to Stamp Out Hunger across America in ornder to provide assistance to the rapidly increasing number of Americans who are struggling with hunger. Learn more >>

May 27th - July 4th The Governor's Bowl

The Governor's Bowl Chamber of Commerce Challenge is a food and funds drive to support the 7 Feeding America food banks in Virginia. Through friendly competition, Virginia Chambers of Commerce as well as Virginia state agencies compete to collect the most food and/or funds and win one of 8 hand-made award bowls.

June 2nd Finish 2B Fit - Race 3

The Finish 2b Fit Progressive Race Series is designed to challenge the beginner and experienced runner. The third race will be a "Toughest 10K"  in the Prince William Forest in Triangle VA. Read More >>
