Philanthropy: A Private Response to Hunger

The Fredericksburg Area Food Bank depends on the generous donations from individuals, groups, and corporations to pursue our vision of creating a hunger free community. Every year, we distribution millions of pounds of food and grocery products to families and individuals in need.

Philanthropy can take many forms. It can come from individuals, groups, corporations or organizations. It can be a one-time donation, a monthly commitment, or a bequest. Organizations can give grants or organize a workplace food & funds drive.

There are countless ways that members of this community contribute each year. The Fredericksburg Area Food Bank is the recipient of thousands of philanthropic donations every year, each dollar of which is integral to our mission of helping those in need.
