Mission Statement
Our Vision: Creating a Hunger Free Community
The Fredericksburg Area Food Bank helps to provide nutritious food to over 17,000 people each month through our network of more than 70 non-profit and faith based organizations throughout the community. In 2011, the Food Bank collected and distributed over 3.4 million pounds of food and other grocery products; the equivalent of over 2.7 million meals provided to those in need.
We are members of Feeding America, a national organization supporting more than 200 Food Banks across the country and the largest domestic hunger relief agency in the United States.
Our Mission: To aid partner agencies in meeting the needs of the hungry in Planning District 16; the counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania, Caroline, King George and the City of Fredericksburg as well as neighboring communities.
